Stayed whole day in the VIVA room from 9am to 5pm for my advertising presentation. Was supposed to be d 2nd wan to present. But bcoz i'm using my own laptop,d lecturer dun wana waste time changing the laptop so i need to wait till d end. Overall, i thk dis is d 1st time dat i manage to "act" calm while i'm standing in front....Ahahahaha....Mayb bcoz i've been waiting for too long . Lecturer did criticize on my work *a bit disappointed* But anyway i did learn sthg. Dat's wat ppl alwiz said "We need to learn from our mistakes".

Today is Deepavali day~ Happy Deepavali ~('',)........Holiday!!! but no outing for me, juz guai guai stay at home. Duno wat to write after i had stopped updating my blog for such a long time. Hmm...Err.....

Recently, go lotsa places to try a lot of yummy food. I'm gaining weight, getting fat, fat and fatter. Really eat till "fat die me" dy~ T_T (havin D-I-E-T mission now).

Finished all assignments and projects dy. *hooray* Dis sem, Advertising was a tough and challenging subject for me !! Nearly makes me goin mad but thanks to those who help me out. Phew!! Special thanks to Mei Mei, Wu Kwai, C Quek, Alle, Vivian and Sean. Without their help, i thk i can't manage to fin my ad in time. Not to left out those who did help me by giving me ideas Hee Ning, Ai Chen, KC Yip and Edryne and so on~

End of the concert!

Everything is over! 2 months of our hard work, juz end in less than 3 hours. Phew!!! This 2 months really struggling like hell. Busy meeting sponsors to get clothes for the main singer and i dun hav enuf time to practise for the song dat i'm goin to perform.*Sigh* Which makes me feel guilty on the day of the concert. I thk i did not perform well on d stage. Didn't play well because less practise d! Juz not as gud as i expected. Practise makes perfect *very true* Less practise not perfect!

Other than that, dis year we got less sponsor and we met unfriendly sales assistant! Gosh! Need to be prepared to see the unfriendly faces all the time, but we need to keep on smiling whenever we meet them, wat to do, they are our sponsor ! The boss were very nice to us. Sometimes when the boss is around, the sales assistant will serve us, walk around with us, search the rite size dat we need for us. BUT, when the boss were not around, the "wu lei" tail will come out, they will juz stay at the counter, show black faces to us!2 faces ppl, scary man.

The one i mention is ony one of our sponsor. Luckily we still hav other sponsors dat were very kind and friendly. Glad to noe them. *smile*

Until today my job haven't done. I still need to meet the sponsors to return the clothes and accessories. And the nightmare was, still need to go meet the unfriendly sponsor tmr (for the last time) hopefully the boss will b thr! *pray*

Popular disease of the month

There goes H1N1, the popular disease of the month! Ard 10 people in USM Pharmacy sch got it and it was starting to spread. My fren is one of the victim so a few people hu had spoken to her last week were advised to c the doc. I'm one of them, LOL. A few of my hsemates and I need to be quarantine. While other hsemates need to be kick away to stay at other fren's place. Pity them. Honestly, this was my feeling when i knew dat i need to be quarantine for a few days. Happy. Why? Because i can hav a break to settle down for the new semester. Worry. Why? Wat if i'm one of the H1N1 victim ? LOL...Besides, i can't attend my 1st lecture and the preparation for the concert need to be postpone. Althou ppl said dat we were like staying in jail but i did relax myself to the max. Enjoy watching drama and we did cook on our own ( food, leong cha and tong shui as well ) . Real relaxing! People from Pusat Kesihatan came dis evening to check on our body temperature and tmr they will cum again. We will be release tmr if we are fine. Yeah. I thk i hav enuf rest and WE need to kayao for the concert.....POSTER OUTING tonite, we are going to a few places during the midnite to stick our poster...hehehe...illegal mia!!!! Fun and Adventures! After tonite, you guys can c our striking yellow posters along the road!! Ngek Ngek Ngek!

Preparation for The 18th Annual Concert

This year is my last year to get involve in the wanderers concert. It is a song composing association. In dis concert, there are many departments such as publicity, song composing, emcee, sponsors, dance and etc. I'm the leader for the make up and image department. A leader? What m i suppose to do? At 1st, i feel a bit regret to take dis post as i'm not very gud in leading ppl. Luckily i have a few members who work with me. We are suppose to design costumes for all the performers for each songs. There will be 18 songs, it's quite hard to think for all. Every sat we will hav a small rehearsal where we perform songs, dance and present the costumes that we have chosen for the performers to the senior. The seniors will then comment on it so that we can improve b4 we perform for the real concert.

The work that i recently do was to call the shops who are potential to be our sponsor for costumes and accessories. I need to take a lot of courage to call and talk to the person incharge about our concert as my communication skills is lousy. =/

Today we went to one of our sponsor to snap some pics which is France Taipei. When i 1st step into the shop, i feel very excited becoz i noe that i get to see lots of wedding gowns (seems like a bit desperate to get married, LOL). Nono, juz feel excited to see all the beautiful gowns. We were then be seated near to a semicircle stage that we alwiz seen on drama or movie. The place were there are fitting rooms with large mirrors. The employees were very nice,they treat us as their customers, trying very hard to search for the types of costumes we wanted to borrow. Glad to have them as one of our sponsor.

After a tiring day, we went bck to our meeting place,a place where we practise songs and etc.1st thing i will do is go to my letter box to see whther there are any messages. It's a fun game where we can drop messages that we wanted to tell the one that we care by letting them noe who we are with our own name written at the end of the message or without letting them noe by using nickname, isn't it interesting? We did dis every year during the whole preparation for the concert until the concert ends as we need someone to care coz sumtimes we might feel stress with our work.=)

12 days of working, very tired but work hard for the sake of getting more $.

Stall of "Rice Cracker"

My duty was to promote the "rice cracker", holding 1 box of sample, walking around the "rice cracker" corner and promoting the same thing for 12 days. Same dialogue but with different customers.

My common dialogue for 12 days:
A : Hie, miss/sir/uncle/aunty these are rice crackers, wana try??
B : Hmm, this is very salty/sweet, I dun like, thanks.
A : Oh, u may try the others which are not dat salty/sweet, very tasty!
B : Eh, not bad, how much is this? / It's ok, i'll juz walk around and hav a look on others.
A : Thanks, bla bla bla and so on!

Feel like I'm a Robot, automatically talk the same thing to each customer who passes by my stall.

There are pro's and con's where the counter placed nearby my stall.
Pro : When people queue up, they grab some of the "rice crakers" which looks delicious
(without me promoting >>>> Yeah)
Con : There are many of them who kacau my products when they queue up
(i need to rearrange then T_T) See the black "cage"

Everynite ard 9.45pm, feel relief when I see "them (the cage)". This shows that we can tutup kedai ! Can balik kampung and REST!!!! Balik Kampung, oh oh balik kampung.......LOL
